Alexander Leishman is the Founder, CEO, and CTO of River, where he leads investor relations, corporate strategy, and engineering, drawing on a background in software engineering, information security, and Bitcoin. He previously worked at Polychain Capital, Airbnb, Deloitte, and Maicoin, and holds an Aerospace Engineering degree from the University of Maryland and a Master’s in Computer Science from Stanford, where he helped teach the university’s first Bitcoin course.
